Baccarin was born in Rio de Janeiro, the daughter of actress Vera Setta and Fernando Baccarin, a journalist. [ 3 ] [ 4 ] She is of italian and lebanese descent. [ 5 ] [ 6 ] [ 7 ] Morena ‘s debut as an actress was at the age of 6 for a television especial directed by her great-uncle, who is a field director in Brazil.
