Brittany Leanna Robertson ( born April 18, 1990 ) is an american actress. She is known for her lead character in The First Time ( 2012 ), and has appeared in the films Tomorrowland ( 2015 ), The Space Between Us ( 2017 ), A Dog’s Purpose ( 2017 ), and I Still Believe ( 2020 ).

Robertson was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Beverly ( née Hayes ) and Ryan Robertson, a restaurant owner. [ 1 ] Robertson grew up in Greenville, South Carolina. She is the oldest of seven children ; her mother and stepfather have three children ( 2 girls, 1 son ), and her church father and stepmother besides have three children ( 1 girl, 2 boys ). [ 2 ] [ 3 ] When she was 14 years old, Robertson moved from North Carolina to Los Angeles to audition for television receiver pilots. Her grandma Shuler Robertson came with her. In April 2019, Robertson was cast in the role of Melissa Henning, the real-life wife of christian rock musician Jeremy Camp, in Lionsgate ‘s faith-based biographic romance film I Still Believe. [ 12 ] The film was released in March 2020. In January 2021, Robertson was added to the frame of the ABC drama Big Sky as recurring fictional character Cheyenne Kleinsasser. [ 13 ] On July 30, 2021, Robertson was cast in the approaching autonomous film The Re-Education of Molly Singer as the title character of the film. [ 14 ]
