Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama ( portuguese pronunciation : [ ˈklubi dʒi ʁeˈgatɐʃ ˈvaʃku dɐ ˈgɐ̃mɐ ] ), besides known as Vasco da Gama or plainly Vasco, is a brazilian professional sports club based in Rio de Janeiro, in the vicinity of Vasco da Gama.
