Marco Reus ( german pronunciation : [ ˈmaʁkoː ˈʁɔʏs ] ; born 31 May 1989 ) is a german professional football player who plays as a advancing for and captains Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and the Germany national team. Reus was born in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia. [ 4 ] He began to play football for his hometown baseball club Post SV Dortmund in 1994 and joined the youth ranks of Borussia Dortmund in 1996.
