early years ( 1996–2000 )
Cobi Jones, who played for the club from their inaugural season until his retirement in 2007 LA Galaxy is one of the 10 establish clubs in Major League Soccer. First MLS Cup ( 2002 )

Colors and badge
Los Angeles Galaxy first logo ( 1996–2007 ) The LA Galaxy ‘s stream team colors are dark blue blue, aureate, and white. Rivalries
The Galaxy ‘s head competition match is played against the San Jose Earthquakes, which is known by the fans and media as the California Clásico. LA Galaxy II
The Galaxy created the LA Galaxy II reserve team in January 2014 to compete in the USL. The LA Galaxy extended its young person development platform and social organization through the integration of existing young clubs that have partnered under the LA Galaxy diagnose. Golden Boot
The Golden Boot achiever is the leading goal scorer at the end of the season ( merely goals in MLS count ). This award did not exist from 1996 to 2004. The MLS Scoring Champion Award included both finish and assist totals those years .
