Kim studied composing and piano-playing at a music academy in center school. Kim then auditioned for CJ E & M and became a first generation trainee of the company [ 1 ] for four years from his first year of high school, at Seoul Performing Arts High School ( SOPA ). [ 2 ]

2014–2015 : introduction and Show Me the Money 4 [edit ]

Kim was featured in music stages of CJ E & M artists as a knocker since 2014 and was one of the beginning generation of trainees from CJ E & M. [ 2 ] Kim debuted as an actor in 2014 in a joint South Korean-Vietnamese drama Forever Young. [ 4 ] He besides had a cameo character in the tvN drama I Need Romance 3 ( 2014 ) as an idol singer preparing for debut.
