Naomi Ellen Watts was born on 28 September 1968, in Shoreham, Kent, England. [ 3 ] [ 4 ] She is the daughter of Myfanwy ( Miv ) Edwards ( née Roberts ), an antiques dealer and costume and fixed couturier, [ 3 ] and Peter Watts ( 1946–1976 ), a road director and reasoned engineer who worked with Pink Floyd. [ 5 ] [ 6 ] Miv was born in England but lived in Australia between the ages of one and seven. Watts ‘s maternal grandfather was Welsh and her enate grandma was australian.
