The AFC Asian Cup is the chief affiliation football contest contested by the aged men ‘s national teams of the members of the Asian Football Confederation ( AFC ), determining the continental champion of Asia. A pan-Asian rival was first base proposed after the end of World War II, but it was not implemented until 1950s. The first trophy came in a form of a bowling ball with circular basis. It was 42 centimeters tall and weighs 15 kilograms. Despite being the second oldest continental football tournament, the AFC Asian Cup has suffered numerous criticisms.
