Football league
The Cambodian League or the C-League ( Khmer : លីគកំពូលកម្ពុជា ), is the highest football division of football in Cambodia. Contested by 13 teams in the 2021 season, it operates on a system of forwarding and relegation with the cambodian Second League. Season normally runs from February to October, with each of the 13 teams playing against each other doubly which totals to 24 games played per team. Most of the games are played on Saturdays and Sundays afternoons .

Phnom Penh Crown, Boeung Ket, Nagaworld, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, and newly promoted Visakha are considered the ‘big five ‘ of cambodian football, with the five teams having qualified for AFC Cup football.

The competition between the most successful club in domestic football, Phnom Penh Crown against the newly promoted team Visakha considered as the bowler hat of the capital, due to the number of noteworthy players that played for both clubs, a well as the geographic location between both home stadiums, which are literally located within 10 kilometers from each other .

The match between Angkor Tiger and Soltilo Angkor is the most democratic crippled in this historical state of Cambodia. The bowler hat normally draws many media attention and a very high act of fans .

2019 season [edit ]

Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng won the 2019 league season with a 25 games run unbeaten streak only to lose its final examination league game against Nagaworld .
