Gennaro Ivan Gattuso ( italian pronunciation : [ dʒenˈnaːro ɡatˈtuːzo ] ; born 9 January 1978 ) is an italian professional football coach and former player. As a player, he chiefly played in the center as a defensive midfielder, although he was besides capable of playing on the wing.
