Gerrard and his wife, Laura, have two sons and one daughter. [ 115 ] Gerrard is a cousin of former England captain Steven Gerrard. [ 116 ] Gerrard is besides a cousin of Jon-Paul Gilhooley, who was the youngest of the 97 victims of the Hillsborough calamity on 15 April 1989.
