Charles De Ketelaere ( born 10 March 2001 ) is a belgian professional football player who plays as a fore for belgian Pro League club Club Brugge and the Belgium national team .

Club career [edit ]

De Ketelaere joined Club Brugge at the age of 7, besides working as a ball boy. [ 2 ] He besides played tennis as a youth, but chose to pursue football. [ 2 ]

He made his elder debut on 25 September 2019, when he played the full game in the 2019–20 belgian Cup match-up against Francs Borains. [ 3 ] On 22 October 2019, he made his UEFA Champions League debut against Paris Saint-Germain. He started the game and was substituted in the 57th moment with the seduce of 1–0 to Paris Saint-Germain, the bet on finally ended with a 5–0 loss. [ 4 ] On 5 February 2020, he scored a goal in a 2–1 winnings against Zulte Waregem to reach the belgian Cup Final. De Ketelaere was called up to the senior Belgium national team squad in November 2020 and made his debut as a substitute against Switzerland. [ 7 ] On 10 October 2021, he scored his first gear external goal for Belgium in their 2–1 loss against Italy in the Nations League third base place playoff match. [ 2 ]

As of October 2021, De Ketelaere is living with his mother. [ 2 ] He studied law at university, but stopped after his football career took off. [ 2 ]
