Douglas dos Santos Justino de Melo ( yield 22 March 1994 ), known as Douglas Santos or just Douglas, is a brazilian professional football player who plays as a left-back for russian baseball club Zenit Saint Petersburg .

Náutico [edit ]
In 2011, after an unsuccessful trial at Corinthians, [ 1 ] Douglas was signed by Náutico. A class late, he was called up to inaugural team by director Waldemar Lemos. On 15 February 2012, Douglas made his first team debut, in a 2–0 home win over Central. [ 2 ] On the 26th, he scored his beginning professional finish, the second gear of a 3–1 dwelling win over Belo Jardim. [ 3 ] On 18 July, he made his Série A debut, in a 3–0 home win over Ponte Preta. [ 4 ] On 10 October, he scored his first top flight finish, in a 1–2 aside kill against Ponte Preta. [ 5 ]
Granada and Udinese [edit ]
On 12 July 2013, Douglas signed a five-year deal with La Liga slope Granada CF, for an undisclosed tip. [ 6 ] On 2 September, he joined Udinese Calcio in a season-long loan conduct. Zenit Saint Petersburg [edit ]
On 4 July 2019, Douglas joined russian Premier League side FC Zenit Saint Petersburg, signing a five-year contract. [ 11 ] [ 12 ] On 3 September 2021, he extended his Zenit contract until the end of the 2025–26 season. [ 13 ]

A few months before featuring with the U-20 ‘s in 2013 Toulon Tournament, Douglas received a call-up for the full squad on 2 April 2013, for a match against Bolivia. [ 14 ] however, he did not leave the bench. [ 15 ] On 13 August 2015, Douglas returned to the elder team, for friendlies against Costa Rica and the United States. [ 16 ] He made his introduction for his area in a 2016 friendly against Panama. He besides represented Brazil at the Rio Olympics and he was one of Brazil ‘s best players on their way to winning the Olympic men ‘s football tournament, and winning gold .
