Reading: Boys Lebo Cup

The health and safety of our players, coaches, volunteers and families are our number one priority this approaching season for LeboCup. We have and will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation to have a dependable train and playing environment this drop. We will be incorporating the recommended guidelines from the CDC, USOPC, US Youth Soccer and US Soccer. We will provide families timely telling and data regarding the impact of COVID-19 on any delays or changes to our season .

About the Program
Lebo Cup is a recreational league open to students in grades 3rd through 8th. Our plan is to introduce the game of soccer to youth of all ages and skill levels with the purpose of providing the opportunity for each player to develop to their highest potential and at their own footstep .

Divisions: 

  • Boys Grade 3rd and 4th are combined

  • Boys Grades 5th and 6th are combined

  • Boys Grades 7th  and 8th are combined

Please note that division structure is subject to change based on the adjustment results .

Opens for Registration:  June 15th – August 5th
IMPORTANT: PLEASE ENTER YOUR CHILD’S RISING GRADE (FALL GRADE LEVEL) WHEN REGISTERING

Season Dates:  Late-August through Early-November

Registration Cost: 

registration Fees : early on Bird June 1st – June 15th $ 100

registration Fees : June 16th – August 5th increase to $ 110

notice : The registration tip does not include consistent expenses .

Practices: There will be a schedule coach practice one time per week during the weekdays. Practice time and go steady are determined by the Head Coach .

Games:  All games are played on a Saturday, starting late August and running to early November. Makeup games may occur on Sunday afternoons in orderliness to get as close to a full temper as possible if there is regretful weather or health issues .

Location:  Jefferson Middle School Field, Cedar Turf, Howe Field, Foster Field and possibly the high School Rockpile. See field addresses here .

Lebo Cup Classic Tournament
One of the highlights of the fall season is the Annual Lebo Cup Classic Tournament. The elementary focus with Lebo Cup is building better people through the sport of soccer. This tournament is very especial to the program, and we hope this year that we will be able to continue to hold it. however, if sealed restrictions do not allow us to hold the tournament, a playoff scenario will be developed in accord with the current guidelines .

The Lebo Cup tournament is held over five weekends, normally starting in early October. We conduct half-day round robin tournaments in all age groups, ending with one team as the best in each group. We will do our best to schedule this tournament into the season, but this will always be dependent on the weather and battlefield conditions, along with the health and guard of our players and families .

Uniforms:
A typical uniform kit will include two jerseys, shorts and socks. The cost will typically range from $ 30.00 to $ 45.00 per actor. The League will send an e-mail to the registered Lebo Cup players with a associate to purchase .

The on-line storehouse will not be available until July so please watch your emails. shin guards are REQUIRED at all practices and games. Game attire will consist of the intend Lebo Cup Jersey, shorts, soccer socks and soft cleats or tennis shoes. Please note that baseball and football cleats are NOT allowed to be worn for safety reasons .

If a Lebo Cup Player besides plays on a travel team, he or she must purchase a Lebo Cup undifferentiated ; this is a change from years past because players, coaches, parents, and specially referees were having difficulty telling teams apart due to all the unlike jerseys being worn .

clarification on Lebo Cup Jerseys : Players are NOT required to purchase new Lebo Cup jerseys if they have already purchased one in 2019. In situations where new Jerseys are needed, the League will send out a link to the buy site where parents can purchase immediately from the manufacturer .

Ball Needs : Size 3-5 musket ball ( depending on age )
8 and under – size 3
Ages 9-12 – size 4
Ages 13 and up – size 5
