Gianluigi Buffon ( italian pronunciation : [ dʒanluˈiːdʒi bufˈfɔn, -ˈfon ] ; born 28 January 1978 ) is an italian professional football player who captains and plays as a goalkeeper for the Serie B club Parma. Despite offers from Bologna and Milan, [ 29 ] Buffon began his career with the Parma young system in 1991, at the age of 13.
