Jong Ajax ( formerly more commonly known as Ajax 2 ) is the reservation team of AFC Ajax. The team is composed by and large of professional footballers, who are often late graduates from the highest youth level ( Ajax A1 ) serving their first professional compress as a allow, or players who are otherwise ineffective to play in the first team.
