Joseph Dave Gomez ( hold 23 May 1997 ) is an english professional football player who plays as a center bet on for Premier League club Liverpool and the England national team. Gomez began his career at Charlton Athletic, breaking into the inaugural team at 17 and playing one full aged season before joining Liverpool in June 2015. After establishing himself as a first-team even, Gomez struggled with injuries, but appeared in the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final as Liverpool won the competition. He played in the final of the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup with Liverpool winning the contest for the first time in the club ‘s history. Gomez was born in Catford, Greater London [ 5 ] to a gambian father and an english mother.
