  • The Thai government is currently distributing COVID-19 vaccines for U.S. citizens and is operating two websites for U.S. citizens to register for the COVID-19 vaccine: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/and https://thailandintervac.com/.  By registering with these websites, your information is going directly to the Thai government and hospital coordinating officials, not the U.S. Embassy. The U.S. Embassy will not have access to information on the form. In some provinces, the Provincial Public Health officials have also announced other local registration systems.
    • Answers to frequently asked questions from the Ministry of Public Health:  Are there two vaccine registration websites? Which of these should I register to get the Pfizer vaccine?
      • Answer: Both sites target different groups. Expatvac.consular.go.th targets foreign nationals aged 12 and above with a valid non-immigrant visa in Thailand. Vaccine options are not clearly identified on the site, nor can individuals select which vaccine they can receive; however, the Pfizer vaccine is often one of the options used and questions on whether the Pfizer vaccine is an option should be directed to responsible public health or hospital officials.  Thailandintervac.com caters to foreign nationals aged 40 and above, those with chronic diseases, and pregnant women. Three vaccine options (Sinovac, AstraZeneca, and Pfizer) will be available for local inoculation.
    • When will I be notified of my vaccination appointment from the Thai government?
      • Answer: Emails acknowledging your registration and advising the assigned date and site of your vaccination will be sent to you after you complete your registration process. Please see below a confirmation page that will pop up after you succeed in registering for the vaccine on Expatvac.consular.go.th.
