Trevoh Tom Chalobah ( hold 5 July 1999 ) is an english professional football player who plays as a centre-back or defensive midfielder for Premier League club Chelsea. Chalobah joined Chelsea in 2007 at the old age of eight, joining his buddy Nathaniel in the club ‘s academy. He spent time out on loan at Ipswich Town, Huddersfield Town and french side Lorient. He made his senior introduction for Chelsea in the 2021 UEFA Super Cup, helping the club lift the trophy following a penalty shoot-out acquire.

Chelsea [edit ]

Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Chalobah joined Chelsea at the long time of eight. 2018–19 season : lend to Ipswich Town [edit ]

He signed for Championship clubhouse Ipswich Town on a season-long loan share in June 2018. [ 9 ] He made his professional debut on 4 August, starting in a 2–2 draw with Blackburn Rovers. [ 10 ] Two weeks subsequently he scored his first aged goal, equalising in a 1–1 draw with Aston Villa at Portman Road. [ 11 ] On 6 October, he scored a late achiever in a 3–2 winnings against Swansea City, earning Ipswich their first league win of the season. [ 12 ] Despite chiefly playing as a centre-back during his fourth dimension in the Chelsea academy, he played as a central midfielder for Ipswich during his first season in senior football. 2019–20 season : loanword to Huddersfield Town [edit ]

On 8 August 2019, Chalobah signed a new contract with Chelsea through to the 2022 season, and began a season-long loan at Huddersfield Town. [ 14 ] He made his debut five days later in a 1–0 home loss to Lincoln City in the first cycle of the EFL Cup, playing the entire 90 minutes. [ 15 ] He scored his beginning goal for Huddersfield on 21 August against Cardiff City, initially equalising to level the sexual conquest at 1–1, in a match that Huddersfield went on to lose 1–2. 2020–21 season : lend to Lorient

On 18 August 2020, Chalobah signed a new condense with Chelsea until 2023 and joined french side Lorient on loanword for the 2020–21 season. [ 18 ] He made his league introduction as a substitute on 13 September, in a 3–2 loss against RC Lens. [ 19 ] He scored his beginning goal for Lorient on 27 January, netting the first step goal in a 3–2 win against Dijon. He has represented England at youth charge from Under-16 up to Under-20, captaining all four teams at versatile stages. In November 2014, Chalobah captained the England under-16 team against Scotland in the Victory Shield. [ 25 ] In May 2016, Chalobah was captain of the England under-17 team that lost to Spain in the quarter-final of the 2016 UEFA european Under-17 Championship. [ 26 ] Chalobah was included in the England under-19 police squad for the 2017 UEFA european Under-19 Championship. [ 27 ] An ankle injury sustained in the final examination group crippled against Germany ruled him out for the rest of the tournament. [ 28 ] England went on to defeat Portugal in the concluding.
