Wentworth Earl Miller III ( born June 2, 1972 ) [ 1 ] is an American-British actor and screenwriter. He rose to prominence following his starring function as Michael Scofield in the Fox series Prison Break, for which he received a nominating speech for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama in 2005.
