In this korean name, the class name is Kim Min-ju ( korean : 김민주 ; born February 5, 2001 ), better known as the mononym Minju, is a south korean singer and actress. She is known for finishing 11th in Mnet ‘s girl group survival appearance Produce 48 and debuting with Iz*One in 2018. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] She is presently listed as an actress under Urban Works Media following Iz*One ‘s disbandment on April 29, 2021.

Kim Min-ju was born on February 5, 2001. She has a younger sister and an older brother. She attended School of Performing Arts Seoul and graduated in February 2020. [ 3 ] Prior to joining the reality girl group survival testify Produce 48, she had appeared as an actress in music video and Korean play, notably the 2018 MBC television series Tempted, wherein she portrayed the function of the young Choi Su-ji ( Moon Ga-young ). 2018–present : Produce 48, Iz*One, solo activities [edit ]
From June to August 2018, Kim represented Urban Works on Produce 48 where she finally placed eleventh and debuted with Iz*One. On October 29, 2018, the group released their first gear extended play ( EP ) Color*Iz which received immediate commercial success, selling over 225,000 units and peaking at issue 2 on South Korea ‘s Gaon Album Chart. In addition, both the EP and its lead single “ La Vie en Rose “ charted on Billboard World Albums and World Digital Songs respectively. [ 9 ] Later that year, Kim starred in the movie The Fault Is Not Yours [ 10 ] [ 11 ] [ 12 ] where she besides released a soundtrack song “ Christmas ”. In June 2020, Kim joined Kang Chan-hee and Stray Kids ‘ Hyunjin as co-hosts of the south korean music program Show! Music Core. [ 13 ] [ 14 ] In October 2021, her company officially announced that she will promote as an actress. [ 15 ]
